Bishkek, March 28, 2020 / Kabar /. Foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons who are on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in a visa and visa-free order, can leave the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic until May 1, 2020 without issuing exit visas and having a registration at the place of stay. The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted an appropriate order, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.

The reason for the creation of the “green corridor” for foreign citizens and stateless persons was the difficulty of foreign citizens and stateless persons with timely departure from the Kyrgyz Republic due to the introduction of a number of restrictive measures in foreign countries, as well as the temporary suspension of flights with various foreign countries due to the situation with the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

Now this problem is resolved. Foreign citizens and stateless persons, even in the absence of visas, the expiration of the visa-free regime or the absence (expiration) of registration, can stay on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and freely leave it until May 1, 2020, the press service said.

Earlier, the Kyrgyz authorities cancelled all the international flights, imposed a curfew in the capital city and several other regions of the country due to the coronovirus infection in the country to prevent its further spread.
