Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2022 . / Kabar / . The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan informs about the possibility of exit of citizens of foreign countries without registration at the place of residence until March 1, 2022. Corresponding changes to the Order was made by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov.
The press service of the country’s Digital Development Ministry reported that all foreign citizens and stateless persons staying on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in visa and visa-free order may leave the country without exit visas and residence registration until March 1, 2022.
Co-called green corridor for foreign nationals and stateless persons has been in effect since March 17, 2020. The reason for creating such a regime was the difficulty for foreign nationals and stateless persons to leave Kyrgyzstan in a timely manner due to the introduction of a number of restrictive measures, as well as the temporary suspension of air and ground communications with various foreign countries due to the aggravation of the situation with the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
As of today, flights have been resumed, in connection with which the green corridor is cancelled.
