Bishkek, June 6, 2018 / Kabar /. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek on June 5, 2018 changed the measure of restraint to former Mayor of Bishkek Kubanychbek Kulmatov in the form of detention in jail of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan until the end of the investigation, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Earlier, on May 18, 2018, under the criminal prosecution of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Kulmatov was accused of corruption and a criminal case was filed on May 18, 2018, and a preventive measure was signed in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place.
The investigation is under way.
