Former British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Robin Ord-Smith became Business Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 15, 2019. / Kabar /. Robin Ord-Smith has been appointed an authorized person to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of business entities (Business Ombudsman) of the Kyrgyz Republic. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, the press service of the government said.

It is noted that the order was signed in accordance with paragraph 18 of the Regulation on the authorized person for the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of business entities (Business Ombudsman), approved by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 31, 2018.

Earlier, Robin Ord-Smith served as the British Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic.
