Bishkek, May 7, 2021. / Kabar /. Former Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov believes that now it is necessary to focus more on the question - what to do?

Speaking at a round table on the topic "Batken-2021: who is guilty and what to do?" with the participation of representatives from the CSTO, as well as with Russian and Kyrgyz experts, Madumarov said that he was the governor of Batken oblast and conducted negotiations on border issues.

“No matter how much we talk, only 2 countries will decide the issue. We have the will of two states. Unfortunately, the last conflict was not supposed to happen. But what happened that happened. There are many factors and reasons why this happened. The previously agreed border lines run in deserted areas. Now the most difficult area remains, where the residents are settled. Yesterday it was announced that they are going to describe 112 kilometers. In my opinion, this is a step forward. No need to engage in criticism now. The main thing is that both sides have come to an agreement. Further, it is necessary to carry out the inventory step by step," Madumarov said.
