Former general director of Electric Stations and his deputy detained

Bishkek, Apr. 18, 2018. / Kabar /. On the fact of the accident at the Bishkek Power and Heating Plant, the former Director General of Electric Stations OJSC and his deputy were detained, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

"On Apr. 17, 2018, as part of the criminal case initiated in connection with the accident at the Bishkek Power and Heating Plant, the former director general of Electric Stations OJSC, now the Mayor of Jalal-Abad S. Avazov and former deputy general director of Electric stations OJSC J. Nazarov were detained," the report said.

At present, the detainees are placed in jail.

The investigation is under way.
