Former Issyk-Kul Oblast governor appointed acting mayor of Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2020. /Kabar/. Balbak Tulobayev has been appointed Acting Mayor of Bishkek city, Nariman Tuleyev, the current Acting Bishkek Mayor wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, he will resign and transfer authority to Tulobayev.

Nariman Tuleyev noted that he had talked to Tulobayev, adding that he is a good option for the capital Mayor's Office to date.

"How he will prove himself - it's already up to you, the citizens are no longer silent," Tuleyev wrote.

On Oct. 26, Balbak Tulobayev has stepped down as Governor of Issyk-Kul Oblast due to transfer to another position.
