Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2022. / Kabar / . The Jogorku Kenesh Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration approved the candidacy of Ulukbek Maripov as ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nuran Niyazaliev introduced Maripov’s candidacy at meeting on Monday. Deputies voted unanimously in favor of the former Kyrgyz prime minister’s candidacy.
Maripov,42,headed the Kyrgyz Government from Feb. 3 to May 5, 2021.
