Bishkek, June 5, 2018. / Kabar /. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek today changed the measure of restraint to former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov in the form of detention in a jail of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan until the end of the investigation, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Recall that on May 29, 2018 within the framework of the criminal case, previously initiated on the fact of corruption during the modernization of the Bishkek thermal power plant, former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Sapar Isakov, was charged of corruption and a preventive measure was imposed in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the country.
The investigation is under way.
