Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of the International Foundation of Turkic States Politics Support Nusret Musa oglu Mammadov made a statement in connection with the aggression of Tajikistan.
The statement of Mammadov runs that the International Foundation of Turkic States Politics Support always stands for peace, friendship and harmony.
"Today, no one is indifferent to the events taking place on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Last year, 190 Kyrgyz citizens were injured in the border conflict, 36 people were killed, including children. More than 40,000 people were evacuated from the incident area. The people of Kyrgyzstan showed patriotism and solidarity and in a united patriotic outburst gave a worthy rebuff to the enemies," the president of the Foundation said.
He added that today, violating all previously reached agreements, the Tajik side treacherously attacked the border and civilian objects along the entire perimeter of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border in Batken Oblast.
"Unfortunately, 24 Kyrgyz citizens were killed as a result of Tajik aggression on the border and there are casualties.
We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of our compatriots who died as a result of the provocation committed by the armed forces of Tajikistan, and we wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
We also express our unity in the face of external danger," the statement of Nusret Musa oglu Mammadov said.
