Four new deaths related to COVID-19 recorded in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s death toll from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has climbed to 1,335.

Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said at a news briefing that another four Kyrgyz citizens died from coronavirus in the past day: one in Issyk-Kul Oblast and three deaths were recorded in the Bishkek city.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 79,429 on Tuesday as 175 new cases were registered across the country in the past 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry’s representative, 295 more patients have cured of the disease over the past day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 73,300.

Currently, 1,472 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, while 2,429 are being treated at home.

2,890 PCR tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.
