Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2020 / Kabar /. The parties Bir Bol, Respublika, Ata-Meken and Reforma united and nominated a single candidate for the post of prime minister.
Thus, Omurbek Babanov was nominated for the post of prime minister, and Tilek Toktogaziev for the post of first vice prime minister.
Tilek Toktogaziev said that they adopted a memorandum entitled “Last Hope”, which guarantees to stabilize the situation and hold re-elections.
“Some political forces, merged with organized crime, are trying to seize the post of prime minister by illegal methods, contrary to the Constitution, the constitutional law on the government and the law on the Rules of the Jogorku Kenesh. These actions are accompanied by threats of violence against some MPs,” he said.
