Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2021 / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Zhyldyz Bakashova met with Ambassador of France to the Kyrgyz Republic Francois Delaus and Deputy Ambassador of Germany to the Kyrgyz Republic David Westenfelder, the press service of the government reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the creation of a Franco-German cultural institute in Bishkek.
Francois Delaus informed about the decision taken by the governments of France and Germany to establish a Franco-German Cultural Institute in Kyrgyzstan. Similar institutions will also be created in Italy, Brazil and Iraq.
The activities of this institute in Bishkek will be aimed at strengthening cultural, educational, humanitarian ties between countries through the organization of language courses, joint concerts, exhibitions, festivals, conferences.
Zhyldyz Bakashova expressed gratitude to this decision and the willingness of the Kyrgyz side to provide assistance in holding joint cultural and humanitarian events.
Also, the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers suggested holding the Days of Kyrgyzstan in France and Germany.
