Freedom House rated Kyrgyzstan as Partly Free

Bishkek, May 6, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is rated Partly Free in Freedom in the World, Freedom House's annual study of political rights and civil liberties worldwide said. Freedom House published on May 6 the annual ranking of world democracies.

Freedom House indicates that Kyrgyzstan received 39 out of 100 points, which puts the state in a number of Partly Free countries in the world. Other states in the region, according to the organization’s report, were called Not Free. For example, Kazakhstan received 23 points, Uzbekistan 10 points, Tajikistan 9, Turkmenistan 2 points.

Last year, Kyrgyzstan received 38 points in the Freedom House Democracy Rating.
