French Ambassador is positive about Taza koom project

Bishkek, June 21 / Kabar /. Head of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov met with Ambassador of France to Kyrgyzstan Michael Roux, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.

Sapar Isakov emphasized that the development of friendly partnership with the French Republic is one of the priority directions of Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy. He stressed that the two countries had a warm relationship.

The head of the President’s Office also stressed the importance of further strengthening of cooperation between the countries, expanding and deepening mutual spheres of trade and economic cooperation, adding that the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the GSP + will give impetus to the development of such cooperation with all countries of the European Union.

Michael Roux said that active work is continuing to develop trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

He also expressed his positive expectations from Taza koom program. He said that this kind of digital road project in France was introduced in 2015. Then the current French President Emmanuel Macron headed the Ministry of Economy and was a member of the group that proposed the project, he said.
