Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2017 / Kabar /. Starting from 2018, Kyrgyz TV and Radio will broadcast new animated series in Kyrgyz, Deputy Chairman of the National Commission on State Language Akim uulu Mederbek announced at the press conference in Kabar news agency.
Akim uulu said thath today a small number of cartoons for children in Kyrgyz language and this is being a barrier for the development of state language and also prevents the spread of national values.
"Last year, along with the Yyman Foundation and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, 10 Arabic animated series were provided to Kyrgyzstan. The Special Commission analyzed the cartoons and selected 3 of them that correspond to national values of the Kyrgyz people," the deputy chairman of the commission said.
Akim uulu reminded that the animated series will be transferred to air time from next year after the voice-work in Kyrgyz language.
