From 3 thousand to 5 thousand fires occur annually in Kyrgyzstan, Taalaibek Omurzakov, the Head of the Fire Supervision Department of the State Environmental and Technical Safety Inspectorate of the Kyrgyz Republic told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that cases of gas stations burning have increased recently, for example, the recent cases in the southern part of the country.
“As you know, inspections of business entities have been suspended to date. According to the results of inspections over the last year, more than 900 gas stations in the country were identified, some of them were ordered to more than 300 items,” Omurzakov said.
He added that fines amounting to more than KGS 1million 322 thousand were written off during the control audit . Omurzakov replied that an inventory of the filling stations is being carried out throughout the country for safety reasons.
