Osh, Nov. 19, 2018. /Kabar/. In the village of Tort Kol of the Uzgen district of the Osh region, a modern hippodrome will be built on the site of a garbage dump near Kempir-Abad reservoir, the administration of Uzgen region reported.

The day before, Deputy Akim of Uzgen region Bolot Dyikanbaev left for the site. The total area of ​​the new first modern hippodrome will be 7 hectares of land. Earlier, there had been a garbage dump on this site, which was completely cleared.

“There are many talented kok-boru and equestrian games sportsmen in Uzgen region, so it is our duty to create appropriate conditions for them. A new hippordrom will be built in a modern style. We must develop our tradition and our ancestral equestrian games,” he said.

Around December 1-2, 2018, a small opening is planned to conduct an explanatory conversation among the local population with a call not to throw garbage near this area.

The garbage dump will be transferred to the territory of the neighboring village. Earlier, residents of Ana-Kyzyl village had been taking out the garbage to this site.
