Bishkek, March 1 / Kabar /. Garment industry growth is expecting in Kyrgyzstan in 2017, President of Legprom Association of light industry enterprises of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Asanov told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.
He said that, they constantly do monitoring and this year we expect good growth in production. "We plan to open new markets, as well as participation in fairs and exhibitions, which will allow us to increase the volume of the exported products. It should be also noted that the garment industry has found its place in the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan," Asanov said.
He also said that in order to develop the industry, firstly, we need a comprehensive approach. Secondly, it is necessary to create all conditions in the country for entrepreneurs, so that they work within the law and the industry has evolved.
"The government created good conditions for the development of light industry. Of course, there were difficulties in 2015, but it is associated with dollar exchange rate. As a large amount of production is exported, we are connected to this currency," said Asanov.
