Bishkek, May 1, 2020 / Kabar /. On the eve of one of the country's main holidays, the Great Victory Day, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan handed over gifts to all participants in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).

The company’s press service said that targeted assistance was sent to veterans and invalids of the Second World War, Leningrad blockaders and juvenile prisoners of concentration camps in seven oblasts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Congratulation of veterans on May 9 is a traditional and one of the major charity events initiated by the company. Every year during more than 5 years, the company’s employees pay special attention to the Kyrgyz participants of the Second World War - congratulate them on Victory Day and take care of their well-being.

We are glad that we have the opportunity to personally convey sincere words of gratitude to the participants of the Great Patriotic War. Since the spring of 1945 - the first Victory Parade - 75 years have passed. From that moment, more than one generation has grown. And now our common task is to preserve the memory of the great feat of the Soviet people, which, with their unity, dedication and incredible love for the Motherland, has provided us with peace, freedom and independence,” report said.
