Bishkek, Nov.14, 2024. /Kabar/. For the last three years, GDP growth has been kept at 9%, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov said during consideration of the national budget at the Jogorku Kenesh on Wednesday.
He noted that according to the latest updated data, the real GDP of the country in 2023 increased by 9%, the GDP growth rate in 2022 amounted to 9%.
“Despite the global pandemic in 2020, the beginning of regional conflicts after it, geopolitical turbulence in the world, climate crises, floods, Batken events, in 2021 GDP growth amounted to 7%. For the last three years we have been reaching 9% growth. The contribution of our people, large domestic entrepreneurs, medium and small businesses, state-owned enterprises, manufacturers, large and small service providers and traders is very important in this achievement,” Zhaparov added.
