Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2022 . / Kabar / . In January 2022, the volume of GDP in Kyrgyzstan made KGS 37.5 billion, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the republic Daniyar Amangeldiev told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to preliminary estimates of the National Statistics Committee, in January 2022, the volume of gross domestic product (hereinafter - GDP) was KGS 37.5 billion, and the real growth rate made 101% (92.2% in January 2021), excluding companies developing the Kumtor deposit, the growth rate was 101.1% (96.1% in January 2021).
GDP deflator was at the level of 107.7%.
In the sectors of the economy the indicators were as follows: in agriculture the volume of production increased by 2.4%, in construction - by 1.6%, and in services - by 4.0%, while in industry the growth rate decreased by 5.4%.
In January 2022, industrial enterprises produced goods to the amount of KGS 22.8 billion, production volume decreased by 4.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor deposit – KGS 17.4 billion, the index of physical volume amounted to 93%.
