Area of COVID-19 contamination is increasing in Osh Oblast, says governor

Bishkek, June 3, 2020. /Kabar/. Area of COVID-19 coronavirus infection contamination is increasing in Osh Oblast, Governor Uzarbek Zhylkybayev said at a briefing.

According to him, a total of 220 coronavirus cases have been registered in the oblast. 187 of COVID-19 patients have recovered, 6 died.

"I would like to note that the area of this disease contamination in the oblast is increasing. For example, no one case of COVID-19 was registered in Kara-Kuldzha region. Now facts have been revealed there among truckers and citizens from Russia accompanying the cargo 200" he said.

In addition, he noted the number of infectious diseases has decreased in Osh Oblast since March. However, according to Zhylkybayev, the number of applying to hospitals has recently increased, particularly among children.

In this regard, the governor urged people to be more vigilant on hygiene issues.
