Georgia and Turkmenistan sign agreement on opening of direct flights

Bishkek, July 22, 2022 . / Kabar / . Georgia and Turkmenistan have signed an agreement on opening direct flights and increasing cargo turnover, reports Agenda.ge with reference to the Georgian Ministry of Economy, Turkmenportal reported.

According to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Foreign Minister Levan Davitashvili, who are on an official visit to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan is an “important trading partner” for Georgia.

“We discussed the possibilities of deepening trade relations, removing barriers and proving an opportunity to export more Georgian products to Turkmenistan”, - said Davitashvili.
