Global Media Congress kicks off in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Nov. 15, 2022. /Kabar/. The Global Media Congress has been opened in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The three-day event, taking place under the theme “Shaping the Future of the Media Industry”, brought together media representatives, specialists, speakers and investors from from all over the world.

The opening ceremony has started with the message of Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to participants of the Congress, read out by Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of Emirates News Agency (WAM) and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for the Global Media Congress.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his message expressed his wish that the Congress will become a worldwide platform for contributions and exchange of experiences and opinions, and also in order to find ways to improve the cooperation and transfer of knowledge.

The conference and specialized workshops in the field of media, holding within the Congress, cover many topics in the field of media, such as digital media, artificial intelligence, advanced technology and creativity in the media sector.

Representatives of more than 150 media companies are invited to the Global Media Congress, which hold exhibitions at the event as they look to seek potential partnerships and cooperation opportunities.

The Global Media Congress, which organised by the ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), is a platform for exchanging innovative ideas and entrepreneurial solutions that affect the development of the media sector.

Journalists from Kyrgyzstan, representing Kabar News Agency, are taking part in the event by opening its stand.
