Bishkek, July 23, 2023. /Kabar/. The Global Media Forum "New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution", held on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press, has completed its work in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
The forum, which was opened on July 21, with the participation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, brought together 200 journalists, well-known and influential media experts from 50 countries, including media representatives from Kyrgyzstan.
The forum included panel sessions "The Future of Media: New Tools and the Role of Media in Journalism and Communication in the Digital Age", "Investment and Consumer Trends in the Media", "Security Issues", as well as interactive discussions between participants and speakers.
The forum participants discussed issues of globally important issues in the field of media, information and communication, the issues of transformation of the digital media environment, the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and the media sphere and exchanged views on the differences between print, traditional and new media, the role of traditional media in the world and the future directions of their development in the era of new media, methods of combating disinformation and fake news, safety of journalists and other issues.
The Forum is organized by the Media Development Agency in connection with the 148th anniversary of the National Press of Azerbaijan according to the order of President Ilham Aliyev.
