Bishkek, March 31, 2022 / Kabar /. The Global Money Week has started in Kyrgyzstan under the motto "Build your future, be smart about money".
The press service of the National Bank said that it will be held in all regions of the republic and last until April 7.
During the week, the National Bank, commercial banks, government agencies, as well as public and international organizations will hold a number of general educational events on financial literacy. These are a national drawing competition, a piggy bank competition, educational seminars, excursions to commercial banks, open days, interactive children's activities where children can express themselves creatively and demonstrate their knowledge.
Global Money Week (GMW) is an annual large-scale campaign that takes place in more than 170 countries around the world and promotes efforts to improve the financial literacy of children and youth. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to provide opportunities for children and youth to acquire financial knowledge, education and culture of saving money to improve their financial stability and well-being in the future.
Global Money Week has been held around the world since 2012. The campaign currently reaches over 53 million children and youth.
Global Money Week has been held in Kyrgyzstan since 2015. The National Bank is the coordinator of the Global Money Week in Kyrgyzstan.
