Bishkek, March 1, 2023 /Kabar/. Global Money Week 2023 starts in Kyrgyzstan on March 15, the press service of the Guarantee Fund reported.
A large-scale information and educational campaign will be held in all regions of the country under the motto "Plan your money, take care of your future."
As part of the campaign, it is planned to hold a number of events: open days, lectures, interactive games, excursions to financial institutions and competitions. This year, part of the events will be timed to coincide with the anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Kyrgyz som into circulation, the fund said.
Every year, within the framework of the Global Money Week, financial literacy events are held in more than a hundred countries around the world with the aim of:
• ensuring that all children and young people have access to high quality financial education;
• instilling a culture of care for the safety of money;
• informing them about the value of money so that they can make smart financial decisions that can improve their financial stability and well-being in the future.
The events will end on March 25.
