Golf resort to be built on Issyk-Kul Lake’s shore

Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan plans to build a golf resort on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ulukbek Maripov signed the corresponding decree in order to attract investments in Issyk-Kul Oblast.

For this purpose the cabinet decreed to transform 92.25 hectares of land (77.4 hectares - pastures, 0.25 hectares - under roads, 1.8 hectares - under water, 12.80 hectares - other lands), which are state-owned and located on the territory of Tamchy village of Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic, from the category "Forest lands" to the category "Lands of industry, transport, communications, energy, defense and other purposes", for the design and construction of a golf resort.
