Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2018. /Kabar/. The Government of Kyrgyzstan has allocated 500 thousand soms for expenses related to the activities to perpetuate the memory of national writer of the Kyrgyz Republic, state and public figure Aitmatov. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziyev, the press service of the Government Office reported.
According to the document, 500 thousand soms were allocated from the reserve fund of the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kyrgyz Unity interregional public organization for promoting peace, friendship and interethnic understanding in order to design Aitmatov lecture hall in the building of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) at: Moscow, 10/2, Miklouho-Maclay St., auditorium number 629.
The decision to assign this audience the name of the world-famous writer of the 20th century, a public and statesman, a diplomat, the great son of the Kyrgyz people was made by the Academic Council of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
