"Every year more than 10 thousand citizens use the opportunity to get a soft loan under the "Agriculture Financing" project. It is also aimed at improving breeding and seed farming, which is the basis of agriculture. The population needs such assistance," the prime minister said.
This project provides for allocation of funds in the amount of KGS 1 billion 250 million for the implementation of the “Agriculture Financing-8” project for three target categories: small and large agricultural producers, as well as enterprises of processing industry.
"The project will be aimed at preferential financing of participants, with the introduction of value chains and agricultural clusters. The total amount of the project this year will exceed KGS 6 billion. This will allow not only to consolidate the existing farms, but also to increase export potential and preserve food security," Abylgaziev said.
