Bishkek, March 11, 2024. /Kabar/. From March 4 to March 8, a regular meeting of working groups of government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the work of the Joint Kyrgyz-Uzbek Demarcation Commission took place in Osh, press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the results of the work for 2023 were summed up, a meeting schedule for 2024 was approved, issues of demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, the creation of demarcation maps and a special (general) geodetic network were discussed.
The negotiations took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Based on the results of the events, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
The next meeting of the working groups will take place on the territory of Uzbekistan.
