Bishkek, Sept. 26, 2022 / Kabar /. The governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek State border signed the Protocol of the Joint Meeting of the governmental delegations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, which will allow starting the procedure for agreeing on the draft of a new Treaty on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the document from the Kyrgyz side was signed by Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Tashiev and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
