Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Talas Oblast appointed

Bishkek, March 9, 2021 . / Kabar /. Bakytbek Narbekov has been appointed Governor of Talas Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

The corresponding order was signed Tuesday by Prime Minister of the republic Ulukbek Maripov, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.

In October 2020, Narbekov, 43, participated in parliamentary elections.

He also served as deputy head of the Department of Public Administration Policy and Organizational-Inspection Work of the Kyrgyz President’s Office.

Former Governor of Talas Oblast Aibek Buzurmankulov was dismissed on March 6. He had been in office for less than five months.
