Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Greek side stated its readiness to provide Kyrgyzstan with COVID-19 vaccines on a free-of-charge basis. This became known during a meeting of Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Kostas Fragogiannis.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting was held on Nov. 5 in the margins of the First European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum.
Thus, the sides discussed the upcoming bilateral activities, including preparations for the celebration in 2022 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the countries, the next political consultations, as well as the organization of the mutual visits at high and highest levels.
Fragogiannis noted the interest of the Greek side to intensify relations in the political and economic spheres, the development of green economy, tourism, trade.
In terms of investment cooperation he noted the possibility of interaction through the Enterprise Greece organization, as well as the readiness to organize a visit of the Greek business delegation to Kyrgyzstan.
The Greek side also stated its readiness to provide vaccines against COVID-19 on a free basis.
