Osh, May 20, 2021. / Kabar /. The Green Tourist Information Center will be opened soon in Osh city, Deputy Chairman of the Osh City Council for Tourism Development Abdulkadyr Aliyev told during a meeting at the mayor's office of the city of Osh.
The meeting was held with representatives of the tourism sector to discuss issues of tourism development.
During the event, Abdulkadyr Aliyev made a presentation on the ongoing work on tourism development in Osh city and Osh Oblast.
“The Green Tourist Information Center will be opened soon in Osh city. Its task is to promote and provide information for tourists about the city of Osh and Osh Oblast. There the tourists will be able to get the necessary service from searching for guides to providing transport and information on routes for potential tourist sites. In addition, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, it will be possible to get climbing equipment, bicycles and other necessary equipment on a rental basis. For 2 years, we have been focusing our work on making Osh and Osh Oblast a tourist hub. There are good prerequisites for this. In fact, this region is already performing this function, but we want to raise it to the international level so that the city of Osh and Osh Oblast can attract more tourists from all over Central Asia,” he said.
In addition, a discussion of current problems in the tourism industry and proposals for their solution took place.
