Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2020. /Kabar/. A group of doctors from Bishkek should examine in detail the epidemiological situation in Batken, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts, prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov gave such an assignment at a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters, the press service of the Government reported Wednesday.

"The number of people infected COVID-19 is increasing every day. We are particularly concerned about the situation in Batken Oblast. A group of doctors led by Deputy Health Minister Mademin Karatayev is leaving for these oblasts to study the situation. Since the situation in Bishkek is relatively calm now, specialists should be sent to those regions where the situation is alarming.

Every effort should be made to normalize the situation in Batken Oblast and prevent an increase in the number of patients. It is necessary to analyze the current situation and find out what the increase in the number of patients in these regions is connected with. Besides, doctors coming from the capital will consult their colleagues in Batken, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts," the prime minister said.

The head of the government once again recalled the responsibility of oblasts heads for the epidemiological situation in the regions.

"In case of problems or difficulties, there is need to immediately inform the Republican Headquarters, rather than wait for the mass infection to start. We should not forget about the ongoing awareness-raising work among local residents on the need to observe sanitary standards. This is in the interests of citizens' health," Boronov said.

At the same time, the Kyrgyz prime minister instructed to submit for the next meeting of the HQ information on vaccination of citizens against influenza and SARS, as well as talks s on the purchase of vaccine against COVID-19.
