Group of Russian doctors arrives in Uzbekistan to assist in combating COVID-19

Tashkent, Aug. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. A special flight from Moscow with 38 medical specialists on board arrived in Tashkent, the press service of the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan reported.

Among them are intensive care physicians, pulmonologists, infectious disease specialists, cardiologists, endocrinologists and laboratory assistants. Russian physicians will assist their Uzbek colleagues in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in the capital and regions of the republic within a month.

Earlier, Russian military doctors rendered assistance to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the fight against COVID-19.
