Bishkek, March 23, 2021. / Kabar /. An increase in number of COVID-19 cases is observed in Bishkek, head of the Public Health Department of Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said during a briefing on Tuesday.
She added 56 out of the country's 76 new cases are registered in the capital.
"Therefore, we ask citizens to keep a social distance of 1.5 meters, not to visit crowded places, wear masks and follow the ministry’s recommendations so as not to expose themselves and their loved ones to danger," Akmatova said.
As of today, Kyrgyzstan registered a total of 87,537 cases of the novel coronavirus. Of these, 84,274 patients have recovered, and 1,490 died.
