Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2019. /Kabar/. As of the end of 2018, the assets of the Guarantee Fund OJSC amounted to 819.7 million soms, of which core capital –613 million soms, Chairman of the board of the Guarantee Fund OJSC Malik Abakirov told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
He said that the National Bank is expected to join with 40% share.
“In 2018, 419 guarantees were issued in the amount of 507 million soms. The volume of bank loans against the guarantee of the Fund amounted to 1.779 billion soms. Since the beginning of the Fund’s activities (2016-2018), 656 guarantees have been issued in the amount of 755 million soms, and the amount of loans received by entrepreneurs amounted to 2.752 billion soms,” he said.
Abakirov added that by the end of 2018, profit was received in the amount of 25.6 million soms, while 14.8 million soms were planned. The increase was 173%.
He stressed that thanks to guarantees, 1,225 workplaces had been created, 5 thousand 887 existing ones had been supported.
“Export-oriented and import-substituting projects received 48 guarantees worth 141 million soms. Female entrepreneurs received 196 guarantees worth 224 million soms,” he added.
