Guarantee Fund provided businesses with 2.4B worth guarantees since beginning of year

Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2024. /Kabar/. For 9 months of 2024, “Guarantee Fund” JSC provided 2 thousand 479 guarantees for the amount of more than KGS 2 billion 484 million, Chairman of the Fund Malik Abakirov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He noted that it provided access of domestic businesses to credit funds worth over KGS 6 billion 830 million.

Abakirov added that for the entire period of the state company's activity, from 2016 to Sept. 30, 2024, the Guarantee Fund provided guarantee support to business entities, providing 10 thousand 645 guarantees worth more than KGS 10 billion 601 million, which provided access of businesses to credit funds worth over KGS 32 billion 866 million.

“As in previous years, support for entrepreneurs in the regions is a priority in our activities, special attention is paid to the agricultural sector, industry, tourism, mortgages, as well as export-oriented and import-substituting enterprises. To date, 88% of the total number of issued guarantees are directed to the regions,” the chairman of the Fund concluded.
