Guests of exhibition "ATM 2023" impressed by national pavilion of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 4, 2023. / Kabar /. The Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic told about the impressions of the guests of the XXX International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel "Arab Travel Market" in Dubai (UAE) in Kyrgyzstan’s national pavilion.

8 tour operators participated in the exhibition from the Kyrgyz Republic, the purpose of which was to tell about the tourism opportunities of our country and increase the flow of tourists from Arab countries.

Kairat Itibaev, vice president of the Tourism Development Support Fund, said that the national pavilion was a platform where domestic tour operators could profitably present their tourism products and conclude agreements with foreign travel agencies.

“Thus, more than 1,000 guests visited the national pavilion during four days of the exhibition. The foreign public was attracted by its unique design, which combines national symbols and mountains. The girls in national dresses, who treated the guests with boorsoks and kuruts, and three giants, with whom one could take a photo as a keepsake, aroused considerable interest,” he said.

At the same time, Itibaev noted that the culmination of the exhibition was the presentation of the tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. “More than 110 guests came to it. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UAE Abdilatif Zhumabaev welcomed them in Arabic and English. And the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Elvira Surabaldieva spoke in impeccable English about the tourism potential of our country. We tried to gather the maximum audience and tell you why it is worth going to the Kyrgyz Republic. The guests are very happy.

Our colleague from Poland, Marek Traczyk, for example, admitted that this was the best presentation he had ever seen during the entire exhibition,” said the vice president of the Fund.

The participation in the exhibition will help domestic tour operators to increase the flow of tourists to the Kyrgyz Republic and deductions to the budget in the form of taxes. For Kyrgyzstan, this is a good chance to increase the recognition of the country in the international arena and attract direct investment in the tourism industry, the report said.

International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel "Arab Travel Market" is the largest tourism exhibition in the Middle East. The first time the exhibition was held in 1994.
