Bishkek, March 21 / Kabar /. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev and people of Kyrgyzstan on Nooruz holiday, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
"The light traditions of Nooruz, revered by our peoples for many centuries, have now received international recognition. The inclusion of Nooruz in UNESCO's list of intangible heritage is one more confirmation of its uniqueness and universal significance. This also demonstrates the continued adherence of the peoples of our countries to the high principles of humanism and diligence, which calls for friendship, benevolence and peaceful coexistence.
May this wonderful spring and renovation holiday will be marked by you and the fraternal people of your country with joy and prosperity and progress," the Turkmen President's message said.
