Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. Half a billion KGS soms will be spent on holding early presidential elections, Head of the Headquarters for Organization of Early Presidential Elections, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Mamytkanov said Thursday.
The deputy prime minister added that difficulties in the revenue were in 2020.
"These financial difficulties will not affect the elections. The Ministry of Finance will allocate funds," Mamytkanov said.
Regarding the financing of the referendum, he added that if the Parliament adopts a law on its holding, the issue will be considered.
Early presidential elections are scheduled for Jan. 10. 2021.
