Handing over of special equipment - fire engines, buses and ambulances takes place in Bishkek

Bishkek, Feb, 1, 2023 / Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the ceremony of handing over new specialized equipment to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, and the Bishkek Mayor’s Office took place in Bishkek.

Thus, for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 100 units of fire equipment were handed over at the expense of Chinese grant funds - 85 fire engines, 10 rescue vehicles, 3 ladders and 2 command vehicles. The specified equipment will be distributed across the regions of the country.

At the expense of the republican budget, 33 ambulances were purchased for the Ministry of Health, which will also be distributed throughout all the regions of the country.

In addition, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek purchased 120 passenger buses running on gas at the expense of the republican budget.

Also, wheeled tractors, gardening machines, excavators, a crane-manipulator, etc. were purchased for the municipality.

The head of state examined the new equipment exhibited on the central square of Ala-Too, got acquainted with their tactical and technical characteristics.

In his speech, Sadyr Zhaparov, expressing his gratitude to Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, stressed that today a joyful event has taken place - powerful and modern special equipment purchased with grant funds from China is being handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Ambulances and buses for servicing citizens, purchased at the expense of the country's budget, are also being transferred.

At the end of his speech, Sadyr Zhaparov thanked the rescuers, doctors and municipal workers for their service to the Motherland and once again congratulated the participants on today's significant event.
