Head of Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan to visit China

Bishkek, Feb. 29, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov will make a working trip to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China on February 29 - March 2, 2024.

As part of the working visit, a trilateral meeting will take place between Akylbek Zhaparov, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, the secretary of the XUAR party committee, Ma Sinzhui, and Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

It is also expected that the heads of delegations of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and XUAR will jointly visit the Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoint. In addition, the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic will get acquainted with the activities of the Naryn Free Economic Zone in the city of Kashkar and visit a bonded warehouse in the Kashgar Free Economic Zone.

As part of the working trip, it is expected to hold bilateral and multilateral negotiations to promote trade and economic ties.
