Head of General Staff of Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan receives newly appointed Defense Attaché at Chinese Embassy

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2020 / Kabar /. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Omuraliev received the newly appointed Defense Attaché at the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Senior Colonel Zhang Yong, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The new defense attaché was introduced by his predecessor, Senior Colonel Zhu Guozhong.

The head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic noted the high level of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations and stressed the contribution of senior Zhu Guozhong to strengthening military-technical and military cooperation between the two countries.

“Your high professionalism and personal qualities have greatly contributed to the development and expansion of bilateral ties between the defense ministries of Kyrgyzstan and China,” he said, presenting senior Zhu Guozhong with the departmental medal “For Strengthening Military Cooperation”.

Omuraliev also expressed confidence in further fruitful work with Senior Colonel Zhang Yong, wishing him well-being and success in his new post.

On the same day, the Defense Attaché Zhang Yong was introduced to the Chairman of the State Defense Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic E. Terdikbaev, as well as to the heads of the military command and control bodies of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces.
