Bishkek, May 13, 2023. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met in Jeddah with Director General of the Operations Department of the Kuwait Arab Economic Development Fund, Abdullah Al-Mesaibih, as part of his working trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of projects implemented through the Fund in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The first deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the significant contribution of the Fund to the development of the transport industry, in particular within the framework of the implementation of projects for the reconstruction of roads.
Adylbek Kasymaliev also suggested considering the possibility of implementing projects to develop the water supply and sanitation system of the Kyrgyz Republic, which "will significantly improve the standard of living of the population."
In turn, Abdullah Al-Mesaibih expressed readiness to implement joint projects, including in the irrigation and transport sectors.
Following the meeting, the sides noted the need to intensify joint efforts on all projects of mutual interest.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the Governors of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
