Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2022 / Kabar/. As part of a working trip to the United Arab Emirates, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov met with Director General - Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) Mohammed Hassan Al-Suwaydi.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues covering key sectors of the economy of the two countries, including food and agriculture, aviation, financial services, healthcare, industry, logistics, real estate, tourism and hospitality, transport and energy.
The head of the Cabinet noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is strategically located in the center of the Eurasian continent, and the implementation of transport and communication projects is a very promising and important area.
In turn, Mohammed Hassan Al-Suweidi stressed that ADQ is committed to expanding its global presence and is ready to increase cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
For reference: ADQ is one of the largest holding companies in the Middle East region with a diverse portfolio of large enterprises covering key sectors of the non-oil economy of Abu Dhabi.
The shareholder of the company is the government of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The company's portfolio includes direct and indirect investments in more than 90 large enterprises. The fund manages about USD110 billion in assets.
