Head of Kyrgyz Cabinet meets with director of Yandex business group

Bishkek, March 26, 2024. / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov received the delegation of Yandex business group led by its General Director Daniil Shuleiko.

During the meeting, the head of the Cabinet noted that “the country’s tax legislation makes it possible to scale almost any business” and added that for investors who are ready to “pay taxes in good faith, the state is ready to create all the conditions for development.”

In this context, Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized the importance of introducing an automated tax reporting function for drivers in the current application, noting the need for automatic transmission of relevant information to the tax authorities.

In turn, Daniil Shuleiko thanked the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for the meeting and emphasized that almost every seventh resident of the country uses the services of Yandex, and today more than 100 thousand drivers have the opportunity to earn money on the Yandex Go platform.

He also added that favorable conditions for business development have been created in Kyrgyzstan, and Yandex intends to further improve its services in the country.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to the country by a group of leading Russian specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and IT to conduct consultations with the domestic information market.
